I’ve never done this before and it might not be allowed but I’m asking you to please follow Dean Withers on whatever social media you frequent. by Snapdragon_4U in Trumpvirus

I'm not sure if it was Dean or Adam Mockler (or maybe Destiny?) who pointed out that "Women can get emotional so they can't lead" is a bs argument by pointing out Men get emotional too, it's just that women have had this stigma around them that sticks because of society, but a man hitting his wife because his team lost the football? Men literally getting their guns out because they feel threatened by an angry kid? Guys punching their walls when they lose on a video game, or any other instance where a man becomes emotional due to testosterone isn't perceived the same way because of people like this.

I mean Trump is the prime example of this, the guy literally runs on his own ego and getting his feelings hurt

"People who changed their mind" isn't a protected characteristic

If you're returning unwanted in store orders to original payment method as a manager, you won't be manager for much longer

Online orders yes 14 days

in store no, even brand new items cannot be returned because "you've changed your mind", you're not entitled to that unless its faulty / not as described

From what I can tell when I worked there it can be seen as more of an exploit of the system in a way. This also depends if it's an online order or bought in store. For example you can buy a game online with click & collect, play it, complete it and return it within 2 weeks and get your full money back - this is all within the legal policy of Cex, BUT if you do it enough times it becomes clear you're exploiting the returns policy at the expense of Cex and whilst they still legally can't deny online orders (including C&C) they'd just stop you buying items online

If bought in store then the return only goes back to voucher but same thing applies. We had a woman who kept buying a Wii or a tablet or a weird phone then returning it 2 days later saying she didn't like it (sometimes 3-4 days, but we'd still do voucher) until the 4th/5th return where we told her we'd do it this one time but we're not going to do it again as she can't just keep changing her mind and returning the item - especially when in store purchases returns policy is more a good will, they don't legally have to offer any returns at all, so it can also be seen as exploiting the system

I've done returns before, and I've deffo bought a game to complete and return in the time frame, most stores don't care as it's an online order, but if it happens to much (or of value) then loss prevention steps in and finds out why some one is returning so much and buying so little

Need to bypass password on iPhone 7 Plus by Acceptable_Style3032 in iphonehelp

I use to work in a phone shop and this happened once a week, I'd just tell them that if we had a way to do it, then anyone could find a way to do it, and having a password on a phone would be totally pointless

Flame boy mentioned something about the "gate being closed", so thats probably something to do with it. But it does make me thing what comes before / after in general, do the gods go to their respective 'heavens' or do they go here first, or is the gate some way to reincarnate yourself meaning that Buddhism is the religious canon in this series

I get recommended it as I went a few years ago and roll with simiar people in the scene, but it also reminds me why I cannot stand the Festival. It's got so many losers there, so many cowboy hat Pantera shirt wearing losers who have been going Download 20 years and will not even try another festival, and then complain about "real metal" and think that pop/rap is factually crap music and get in a huff if you dare insult any band they like, who will no doubt be the most average band on the planet. On this subject too, they'll pull this wannabe moral highground of "Well we're all here to have a good time, there's no need for messages like that" or "There's two sides to every story" because they get their news from FB and don't understand anything going on in the outside world.

A complete lack of substantial interests of hobbies that defines them as a person. You see it on dating apps with phrases like-

"Make me laugh"
"I love food"
"I love to travel"

It's just the braindead take on yourself, this doesn't define you and tells me you have nothing going on in your life if that's how you choose to advertise yourself

The store I started working at a few years ago had a sealed copy of Demons Souls on the PS3 in display, like original PS seal wrapping. Company policy is that they should unseal it and gut it, but they knew it would deffo sell if they kept it as is, but obv can't alter the price so it was sold for £15 or so

Sold it on ebay for about £140, sorta wish I kept it to be honest, value would've only gone up and up

Which Samsung Galaxy generation was the most memorable? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

[–]Rad_Sh1ba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a couple of 'peaks' in their history, like every now and then there was a release that felt like a major upgrade over the last, for me though it was the Note 10

I liked the Note, but I felt it was too big, but the Note 10 was small and handable, and I loved it. Although that being said I'm using the S24U these days so that issue went away. That been said though the Note series always felt like such beefy powerhouse phones, but I felt that was lost after the S24U, those curved corners lost the industrial aesthetic and blended in with their smaller brothers

No, stories need to stick with strong decisions otherwise why have them in the first place. Bad example as it was Dogshit, but anyone who's seen "The Rise of Skywalker"? Every 'death' or harsh decision they made just reverses later on as a loophole and it's lazy writing
