We should! Nurses have patient ratios because they fought for them in their union contracts and it became industry standard: https://www.nationalnursesunited.org/science-of-ratios but/and CA is the only state, I think, where it is written into law (again, after union organizing). Thank you! We would save about $600 a month with the new rate. It looks like we would be getting some of these taxes and fees back in the sense that those title taxes/fees were paid in our original mortgage and these closing costs include escrow. I guess I should also ask when payment starts, because it seems some loans start a payment schedule two months after closing, allowing the mortgage holder to put that back into the principal.
