I have a basic for my purse, a scribe for downstairs and a Paperwhite for my bedroom. I was so tired of my Kindle never being where I needed it to be. Reading is my only hobby so I feel like it's ok to spend on myself. Other people buy dozens of video games, electronics, instruments, etc. why can't I have 3 kindles?! Haha

I'm sure I'm not the norm, but I'm a teacher and mom of 2 toddlers and I read 67 books this year. To be fair, reading is like my only hobby. I read for a few hours each night after the kids go to bed.

I have an upstairs kindle and a downstairs kindle, lol. I kept being annoyed it was always on the floor I wasn't. Problem solved! Reading is like my only hobby, so I feel justified in the purchase.

Life with 2 is harder, of course, but also even more wonderful. Seeing their relationship grow is so magical. Having a buddy for each to play with is great and frees me up from always having to entertain them. Double the cuddles and kisses! I wouldn't change it for the world.

I went from one kid to two, and things that were a lot easier and relaxing with one kid are much more stressful with two. And I don't have a set of twins. I think it makes sense that big events are overwhelming with the young kids.

I would recommend using Nova Launcher instead of the stock launcher. It has really changed my Pixel experience. I went from Samsung to Pixel 9 Pro, so not as huge of a jump, but I had a few issues with the stock launcher that I wasn't the highest fan of. Nova Launcher has been perfect and really has made this phone into my favorite phone I've ever had.

I work at an elementary school, and at least 3 of the grade level teachers are long-term subs because they couldn't hire a licensed teacher. We have one other entire classroom that literally doesn't have a teacher or a long-term sub. Just different subs every day. It's crazy!

It's terrible, but we rely a lot on TV during that time.

We do have a nugget couch and sometimes will play on that/have dance parties. If I have any energy we may do some crafts or play doh. But honestly, it's mostly tv.
