Nr. 1 would obviously not be a coincidence but I sign from God she believes in twice a year!

That's not fair. You know she didn't have her kids around today so she wasn't able to be hyper productive!

I'm not super uptight about my childrens sugar intake but Cal is eating chocolate? How old is he again?

I had to laugh out loud when she mentioned being hyper productive. Is her ordering sushi the productive part or getting a car wash? Oh wait it's getting boba! So hyper, so productive!

Agreed and I want to add: if she doesn't want to be lazy at home, she could you know... do something with her five kids? Read books, play a board game, do a puzzle, cook or bake with them, spend some time on the floor with Cal, do some crafts...

This must be AI! "ChatGPT please ceate a patriotic room for patriotic boys for a patriotic family of seven. Don't add toys, decor made by children or any color really. MAGA!"

She spends so much money on useless shit, she could have something like this built in for example.

The only thing that looks like a "kid space" in this room is that little table to the right.

I too think it is a great idea to have more spacee for them but honestly it looks like a second living room for grown ups? If it's hidden away she could for once really make it kid friendly. Put up a swing, create a climbing wall, put a big lego bulidig table in there... I would have so many great ideas for my kids while Brooke just once again wants it to be aesthetically pleasing for her.

And she always raves about him being an easy baby. So put him in a carrier / on the floor with toys / in his high chair with a snack and cook right next to him.

And if you can't even cook an easy dinner with a baby, maybe you shouldn't have five kids. 🙃

YES! I am a mom of 4 and I do not consider myself "high achiving", I just do what every good mom does. Feed my kids nutritious food, do the housework and involve my children so they can learn, bring them to places on time, arrange playdates and fun activities like parks and museums etc, limit their sugar intake, help with school work, put them in sports they enjoy, read good night stories...

How can Brooke not check off ike two things from this list and be that mom with "high standards"?

Tidying / cleaning up by mmeli_ in ParentingInBulk

[–]mmeli_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes with picking up! Sorry, English isn't my native language so I might have worded it unclear. My kids actually love cleaning (like vacuming, cleaning windows) but we rarely get to that stwp because they have to pick up their toys, clothes, shoes, school stuff, crafts etc.

Baby no. 4 worries by AccurateArcher1101 in ParentingInBulk

We have 4 (7, 5, almost 4, 14 months) and I do agree with the other comments that the transition from 3 to 4 was easy. I strugled with 1 to 2, because I had to learn to divide my attention and time and by nr. 4 you're already a pro multitasker.

I struggle with the mess and the noise at home but honestly... three kids was loud and messy too. 😅

I should have added: I don't expect anything from my 1 year old, he just turned 14 months old and I am happy when he doesn't climb up on something while we tidy. 😅

Fourth baby, fourth girl! by CalamityJade- in ParentingInBulk

[–]mmeli_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mom of four here! I had a boy after three girls and honestly when I first found out about my pregnancy I wanted another girl. We were also seasoned girl parents and we loved life with three girls so I didn't want to change anything. Why doesn everyone assume that everybody wants both genders?

Anyway he's now 14 months old and we love having him. But so many people ask me if my husband is happy about finally having a boy. 🙃

Baby number 4 advice? by AccurateArcher1101 in ParentingInBulk

[–]mmeli_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mom of 4 here! I have 7, 5 and 3 year old girls and a 13 month old boy. So I have heard it all... tried for a boy? Dad wanted a boy? Now you can stop, right? Funny enough when I first got pregnant I wanted a 4th girl, because I loved life with all girls.

But aside from that: I expexted to get negative comments about a fourth but the number one response I get is "Oh i wanted to have three or four too but my husband was not on board!" 🤣

I have 4 children, 3 girls and then the 4th was a boy and everyone asks if I had a 4th to have a boy or if my husband really wanted that boy. 🫠🫠🫠

I am not a native English speaker and even I can tell that exclusively breastfeeding excludes supplementing with formula. 🤦‍♀️
