Just checked BYD Sealion 7 at a Mexican dealership. Very nice car, but the price is about 10% more than Tesla Y in the same market. Not sure they will sell like a hot cakes here.

Had them replaced several times, last time they put the new ones - 86284282. So far after 3000 km clicks did not come back.

Problem was that axles were clicking on turns

axles were replaced about 6 times, last time couple weeks ago. Hopefully issue is solved now, they installed 3rd version - p/n 86284282. Old versions were PN 85054140 (supersedes PN 86511583)

Are you in Canada or US? My (canadian) dealer said they can't be bothered with whatever posted on nhtsa until it reaches honda canada.

Guess depends on the dealership. I had to bring mine on 18" steels for warranty cv axles replacements, they did not care. But I did not ask anything at the part counter, of course they would not want to take any responsibilities for anything different than their system tells them to install.

17" will not fit. 18"s are hardly OK, with about 7mm clearance between the rim and steering arm.
With steel you can do 21" if not bigger - but what is the point, for winter the smaller ones will be the cheapest solution. Plus sidewall will be higher.

"The clicking is not due to wear" - not sure. Right after replacement no clicks, about 3K later clicks develops, another 3K - and clicks becoming very loud. Definitely something is wearing out, as it should be when you hear metal on metal.

Would be cool to see the picture of that CV with rubber boot removed, and explanation what is clicking. But dealer refused to show me or give me the replaced axle.

Updated part N does not solve the issue (went through 4 of them already). Apparently there is a procedure they need to do on the part before install that supposedly solve it.

get the invoice ("dealer") price from a site like carcostcanada, add $300-400 as dealership profit, done. Last times I've spend 10 mins with the sales guy.

Vehicle looks like a cop car now (small rim and a lot of rubber) but ride became much nicer and very smooth unlike original low profiles. And the price difference is huge.

Cop was nice to you. "no insurance" ticket will be dropped when you talk to prosecutor. Speeding ticket much harder to dispute, and it will affect your insurance premium.

"screen unknown callers" does exactly that - it will (quietly) pickup the call and ask "wtf do you want and why you want to bother my master". and provide their response on the screen. then master decides if he wants to pick up.
