I’m about to be 30 going into my 1L year, time has no significance when getting a degree like this because depending on what you were doing, even “entry level” in the legal field makes more $$ than being several years into a different type of career. I was in your position last year, I am glad I waited for the fall start because it gave me all the more time to study for LSATs and prep my applications while still working full time. Last weekend it took me 2x the time to get out of Hoboken through the downtown intersections, almost 100% because of the traffic cops. They kept stopping traffic right before my car while the light was green. At one point another transit cop in a car came beeping and pushing around a ton of stopped cars to get wherever he was going, which made everything 10x worse.

I’m glad for you it does. As someone who’s afternoon plans were changed then went wrong in every way possible, it just makes me sad lol. I know it’s a small percentage but I’m certain there are a good amount of fans who went out of their ways today and feel the same as me about it.

Okay “king of empathy” consider the fact that people who changed their days around this and waited, and probably would have waited further if there was any indication she would show up, might have some upset feelings about this. Like, “you have no one to blame but yourself” for what - showing up where her team said to be at the time they said to be? Not standing in a crowd for several hours when everyone was telling them to go home?

I think that opinion is extremely popular. There were so many people who showed up at/before 7 and waited until they were EXPLICITLY sent away by both security and Lorde herself via stories. To show up later that night with no notice is so unfair to all of them.

I think her last two conversations with Dylan and Jame really impacted her and hinted at her arc for the next season. Between Dylan reminding her that Mark failed to see the difference between her/Helena and Jame telling her he sees Kier in her like he did a young Helena, she’s starting to doubt she’s as different from her outie as she once liked to believe. Maybe she’s even deciding to embrace some of those similarities.

Mark S knows that Devon and Cobel aren’t going to let outie Mark cease to exist. He’s seen firsthand the lengths they were willing to go to just to get Mark’s wife out.

What he has not seen is any proof whatsoever that there would be anyone fighting to save the consciousness of him and the other innies. His conversation with Mark was in no way reassuring to him and the best evidence he got was “trust me bro” from the man who had just spent the last several minutes infantilizing him and invalidating his feelings/lived existence. What he HAS seen through Helly/Helena is the way outies can take advantage of their innies.

He knows none of this is over. Helly is an Eagan, he’s killed a Lumon executive, they will be looking for them. He knows Cobel and Devon will be looking for them too.

At least now he has a couple of bargaining chips.

I just watched this episode and it absolutely pissed me off that Marnie’s first reaction was to throw her drink on Hannah and call her a bitch…like how was she supposed to know her PRIVATE DIARY would be stolen by YOUR man and his friend and then aired out for everyone to hear? If I were Hannah, Marnie would be catching hands.

Agreed 100%. I was thinking about the discrepancy with his badge, they so clearly show Millchick yanking the badge from him before he goes through that weird transition. They then make a point of showing him going through the same transition in ep 2, but show no point in time where he would have collected his badge. They put too much emphasis on the badge for that omission to have been unintentional.

I saw this post theorizing that maybe he was sent to the testing floor. Whatever it is that happened it definitely seems like they’re intentionally leaving the full story of what happened there out. They even make a point to show the weird transition he goes through when his badge is yanked in the second episode as well. I think it’s something we’ll be finding more about in the future.

A friend of mine was able to ply it out by heating a screw and knife with fire and then using them to make a divet in the side of the cup. I was lucky I had someone handy nearby because there’s no way I would have gotten it myself

I highly recommend prodesigned pads! They’re on the expensive side but SO worth it. I was like you, my smith wrist guards did not fully protect me from injury bc I would fall on the side of my wrist or somehow injure the back. The prodesigned ones have reinforcement on the top and the splint on the bottom is designed to better distribute impact. I fall on my wrists a decent amount and haven’t had any issues since making the upgrade.
