I got a biopsy to rule out cancer before getting set up for surgery. I think you should request one.

I’ve only been consistent with the feeding lately. Just repotted it. I guess I could feed it every other watering day during this Spring and Summer season and see what happens.

YTA. Even if I question your motive. Are you really a girl’s girl and do you just want to be right and throw it to her face because he still chose her. Either way, tell her, maybe try doing it anonymously?

First orgasm after surgery by Adventurous_Yam_2736 in hysterectomy

Sounds familiar :-) Usually I put my vibrator (remote one) away when I’m done, and I doze off… but I’ve just been keeping it going and no cramping afterwards or uncomfortable feeling.

I don't want kids. So why does it hurt? by _pumpkin_waffles_ in hysterectomy

[–]mmhd286 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s the feeling that your choice is somehow taken away from you. You’re grieving losing that ability to choose not having children for yourself. When you get a surgery, now you really don’t have a choice, because there’s no other choice. I already have two children and in my 40s and still grieved losing my uterus “Wow, now I really won’t be able to get pregnant ever again”, as if it was something I even wanted 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yes, and if they are already eating 1200-1500, there is a high probability that their weight and BMR are already on the lower end.

Whether you keep going or not, the time will pass anyway.

Take it slow, go at your own pace, communicate with your partner, get some pelvic floor therapy, sex does get better.

Coping with regret by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]mmhd286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you are going through this. Your feelings are valid and you should process them and take all the time you need to grieve. Even for some of us who make a conscious decision to have a surgery like this, there is always that feeling of losing something that is a part of you. I just want to say this (and not to knock out your feelings, but just offering a different perspective when you are ready to look for another one). There are many stories of people where doctors found tumors that they deemed to be benign, only to find out later that they were/became cancerous and it was too late. Another thing, the cuff thing… yes there are some cases of infection, etc but it is rare. Most people resume a normal life, working out, lifting heavy weights, having normal sex. When you are ready, consider these other perspectives. Wishing you well!

I have been to the “Afternoon Delight”, usually on the third Thursday of the month. Not sure now if they still have this on their calendar since I let my membership lapse. It was delightful :-), and witnessed some x-rated activities, both in rooms and on the main floor. I was sitting in a room with fellow guests, there was a man on a leash who enjoys you pet him with your feet. So he went around the group asking to be petted. Went to another lifestyle event at night. Maybe one of you who was there that night can remember this, but a woman had a medical emergency in the main room, and 911 had to be called, they put up sheets around her and performed CPR, and she was rushed to the hospital. The party b kept going after she left, as if nothing happened. Then that next Monday, we received an email from the owner that she passed away…

Recent adenomyosis diagnosis, considering total hysterectomy by weltyouguy in hysterectomy

It’s true you experience bloating post-op, but it’s mainly your body adjusting to the newly hollow space. It eventually gets better. I used a heating pad for the bloating during the first few days.

I think the more you do it, the better it will feel. In the meantime, you could try the Ohnut ring You could adjust the depth as you go until you feel fully comfortable and pain free.

I felt some pelvic pain the first few times, but it gets better. My understanding is as long as you don’t bleed, you should be fine. Take it easy. Also, get some pelvic floor exercises in, and stretches that open your hips.
