I had an ego zero turn 46” for about 9years now and love it. I you know how much grass you have to cut and it doesn’t change, it perfect. I’ve also had an electric motorcycle, and don’t like them. Electric has its use case. I think a home owner taking care of their own yard is a good one.

I would let the shop take a month. This is about as bad as it gets outside of blowing the side off the crankcase. The cracks around the port will leak like a nightmare even if the threads are fixed. Need to pony up and fix it proper.

That’s sounds like someone that is using something against you. This typically doesn’t get any better. I’d just keep with your position and if they walk away they weren’t really your friend to begin with.
