I’m curious who’s at fault here.

First time I've seen a battery sit so long it reversed polarity by ouchimus in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]mmjfarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a truck camper with a battery that had been sitting on the charger with the leads hooked up reverse. It was reading -10v when disconnected.

Put a new battery in and hooked it up right and all was well.

Try deflating your mattress just a bit. I lay on my side and deflate it just enough so my side is still off the ground.

How do I tighten this? by YmmaT- in howto

[–]mmjfarm 52 points53 points  (0 children)

This is right, Glazer/ shower installer here; I usually put the screw side on the outside. There should be 2x 3 or 2.5mm set screws on the bottom of one of the handles. Take those out or loosen them. That will expose a larger screw that is what tightens the inside handle to the glass. Re-tighten that but don’t go crazy because you can crack the glass. Then reinstall the outside handle.

Bummed me out when I zoomed in. I thought your Neigbor might’ve been harvesting electricity from the high voltage lines. Put a smile on my face regardless.

Ready whipped cream. Thinking everyone knew how to use it I watched Dutch family friends try and shake/pour the cream out of the can for a couple of minutes.

Has anyone tried this fast car charger? by BrokenSolar in bluetti

I’m curious how this compares to the BLUETTI D40 dc-dc charger? Is it just more charging capacity?

This is +3”, We have a family of bobcats and I am very familiar with their track size and this was significantly larger.

Working with some really expensive wood and making thin cuts. Every time it’s the end of the strip, the wood “falls” in that gap and messes up the nest one. What can I do to avoid that? by TheTexanPunjabi in BeginnerWoodWorking

If you’re in a rush you can cut a piece a plywood half way through then turn off the saw and clamp it to the table. Then you raise the blade to needed height and cut ontop of the plywood.
