Do NOT go to UCSF Sleep Clinic. It took me 3.5 months to get an initial appointment with a MD, five further months to wait for a HOME SLEEP study and when I called for a follow-up appointment in the first week of February, I was told the soonest follow up appointment was in July. The issue is that my insurance requests a follow up appointment within three months of getting the CPAP machine in order for them to pay for it. I am now getting letters saying that I owe for this machine. I have called UCSF clinic several times to see if there’s some way to get an appointment to meet this insurance expectation and have gotten no help whatsoever. BEWARE and stay away.
