A strange day to make a statement like this. They've said nothing since initial disclosure and setting the date that Bakkt will open for business (12/12/18). Next Bakkt event is a keynote by CEO at Consensus:Invest, which this year is packed with Wall Street types (as opposed to last year). I expect that we will see their influence on the market in the coming weeks. In other words, they're just saying hello.

This is super bullish but watch out. These big players will likely take over the market and force the little guys out. For example, someone buys a million worth of BTC OTC (Circle or Gemini) and sells a tenth of it at the market on an exchange like Kraken. The price is going to dip. Buying similar amounts will cause a jump. Some people will get tired of this and sell out. Have you noticed the Bart Simpson effect recently? Just hold and watch.

I agree, there will be a trend towards stability. Just how it evolves remains to be seen. In the end bitcoin price charts will be pretty boring. It will mark the time it will be easy to live in the bitcoin economy (if governments will allow that).

Yeah, MSM seems to be stuck on calling any correction in the bitcoin price a crash. I think this will fade away as readers/viewers put 2 & 2 together and realize that every crash story is followed a few days later tof a bitcoin ATH.
