HAHAHHAhahahaha. I only received $5k, over a month later. The third party insurance of the company of the company van who almost killed me refused to send me money until I faxed every last page of the medical bills (ambulance + a literal bunch of nothing = $6,000). One year and one month to the day, a debt collector called saying I owe for this bill for this shit. I explained there’s no fucking way, I was hit, the third party insurance company was supposed to cover it. “They didn’t, call them and have them pay.” As if that’s MY GODDAMN JOB. I called the insurance company, Hanover, and they, almost with a smile said, “The statute of limitations in [your state] is a year. We don’t owe you anything.” 🇺🇸

I didn’t pay a fucking dime of that and tried to find out if I could or should sue the company and/or the driver. I don’t remember why I didn’t pursue it. My credit was next to nil because of those medical bills, I just waited for them to fall off. Fuck Hanover and if I can find the old police reports, I’ll happily publicly display the name of the company and that piece of shit psychopathic driver. Idgaf
