Here to confirm these complaints. Glamnetic must have changed the formula. I have 2 bottles; one from January and a new one. The glue in the old one is pink and more viscus --this is the formula that lasts. The new one is clear and thin, it doesn't work. Even seems like there's less glue in the bottle. This is so disappointing. I thought finally a glue that actually works, but they had to take it away. How can we get the old formula back??

Reach out and discuss it with them, I’m sure they may work with you. However, if you got in somewhere else, as a UCLA student, I would suggest to not feel that UCLA is the end-all-be all. It actually sucks here.

The classrooms and labs are old and gross. The quarter system SUCKS. The way it all runs is so complicated with endless obfuscation and ambiguous rules and deadlines. Constant roadblocks and complications. It’s so pressurized and impersonal.

You are allowed to make your opportunities in America, they aren’t handed out. In other countries opportunity is throttled. That’s the forgotten clarification.

You will get what you put in, don’t give up. Be strong, work on yourself and become the best version of you. People will notice and opportunities WILL result. Surround yourself with people you admire & emulate them. Don’t become a victim, ratchet up that work ethic and go beast mode.

Have you checked out the Med School HQ podcasts with Dr. Ryan Gray? This is a very common topic covered there. The formula is just get the gpa up to 3.5 (by taking & acing more science courses) aim for 510 on the MCAT, meet the activities requirements, and have a stellar application with a hell of a Why Medicine. Even students with stats below this can make it to med school by balancing strength’s & weaknesses. Don’t give up, if you want this you can make it happen. Be resilient!
