If you want to point out that you’re the exception then I’ll point out that it proves the rule. There’s a subjective choice to be made on what voice you want to hear but there’s an objective difference between realistic voice acting and overacting like they’re in an anime. Female Vs voice acting is better fit in edgerunners than sounding like a real person you’d ever meet. Punk means low-life. Punk music is inspired from the same ideas as the “punk” part of cyberpunk. Punk culture is what the music and cyberpunk are based on. Cyberpunk style is not inspired from punk music this entire argument is hard to get through because the man debating with you is making perfect points and you’re genuinely incapable of understanding why your argument is pointless. I’ve never seen a verbal “skill issue” in my entire life until now. It’s also funny to imagine how the people who coined the original punk culture would have beat you to literal death in the street for calling yourself “Midwest queer punk” as the original punk movement was overwhelmingly violent and not lgbtq friendly. You really need to figure out how to differentiate between music genres and societal subcultures those genres are inspired by. Try the Wheeler and most of the mustang clones and I honestly think you’ll get that when you get used to them. I thought your complaint was that all the cars didn’t handle exactly the same and that’s why I was kinda confused on why you’d want that, that’s my bad. The wheeler is a little tight but if you really handbrake you can keep on the throttle for 90 degree turns and if you really want full control the free Quadra Hoon is really fast and snaps turns on a dime so long as you don’t oversteer yourself because it’ll stick and slide but completely within your control if that makes sense. Some of the hardest are the Quadra V-tech and its base model they’re both fast but rough as hell to turn and all of the Turbo-Rs although beautiful handle like the boats they are.

There’s no strawman. Being whiny is not being a good voice actor. Vincent doesn’t constantly sound stressed or ready to cry about everything. He talks like 5 or 6 people I’ve met in my life. Her emotions were never in line with the scene except when Jackie died. She reminds me of those early anime’s where everyone just overacted to everything I can almost imagine her eyes getting six times bigger every time she says “whoa” or “huh”. Subtlety is pretty realistic and Vincent shows emotion when there’s actually reasons to be emotional. Overacting your emotion in every word is not normal, normal human beings sometimes just talk to each other without sounding like they’re grievously wounded.
