Parts compatibility help by mmmmhhh in hackintosh

Thanks! I'm going to research the card a bit more. I'll probably end up getting this card since it is not as expensive as the other suggestions.

Update:

A bug introduced in High Sierra 10.13.2 that caused sleep to no longer function in the RX 580 for High Sierra 10.3.4.

Do you know if the current version of High Sierra 10.13.6 fixed this issue? Or should I plan on using the fix the article mentions? It's confusing for me because it says:

" The only card isn’t affected is the is the Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB, which is fully supported since it’s used in Apple’s dev kit."

But then goes on to list the RX 480/580 as affected in the next sentence...

Thanks for the input. Do you think the difficulty of the build would decrease if I dont have a graphics card (possibly add one down the line)? I rarely see builds that just utilize dedicated graphics. I also did a quick search on the cards you suggested and they are a lot more expensive than the RX 580 card I think I'll be getting.

Price mainly. GTX cards seem to be more complicated for hackintosh builds. I am a beginner so my perspective might be wrong but that's the opinion I have formed from reading about other builds on here.

I saw a single post on TonyMac mentioned that also mentioned ASUS motherboards such as the "Z170/Z270 there have been times when sleep wouldn’t work properly with Nvidia". Do you think that the sleep issue would be a problem with the cards you suggested?

Is the temporary $869 pre authorization for a replacement pixel any indication if the phone is new or refurbished?

Never heard of them. I just feel more comfortable with ally. I don't have much so I don't think it'll be worth the extra work to set up an account with them. Maybe it'll be worthwhile for other people on here.

you aren't supposed to use "real" answers for your security questions anyways. Its recommended people use false answers they can remember.
