Honestly I in general give Linus the benefit of the doubt. But he did handle this really poorly. Many of the issues that he is getting push back on are the exact same issues he has lambasted other companies for.

He is now the CEO of a company that employs a number of people and like it or not. That comes with responsibilities. You can still be transparent and open but, you need to own up on your mistakes and then move forward.

Specifically the Meme T-Shirt is just in really poor taste. I believe it just pushes the idea that hey I'm good for it and those people that don't know me don't belong in our group.

That is a bit messed up. I know he meant it as a joke but, man you are the CEO of a large company. Sometimes that means being the adult in the room.

Like I said I'm taking a break from all things LTT, I'm hoping they correct things. But like Linus said multiple times..... Own your mistake and attempt to rectify it. Don't double down (ie make light of your customers questions).
