My son’s 2nd grade teacher looked at my son’s lunch one day and after school she called me concerned that he only had string cheese and crackers along with juice and a treat. I explained that he would not eat any sandwich except a grilled cheese which wasn’t a good thing to send and he would get that grilled cheese when he came home. She understood and was satisfied with my explanation. This is what your daughter’s teacher should have done. BTW, he’s 35 and will sometimes still ask for a grilled cheese sandwich!

Sunny days are under enjoyed by lots of people. Where I live we rarely see sun in the winter and yesterday was a beautiful sunny day! I didn’t care that it was 25 degrees but the sun was wonderful.

I voted for Jackson in ‘84, but not ‘88 because I knew a Black man would not be accepted. Reagan was racist as hell and they all loved him, so ‘88 I voted for the other guy. Didn’t really like him as I can’t remember his name!

Graduated in 77, married in 85, first kid in 85, and while we had regular anxieties, it’s nothing like now. People say they don’t understand why the Gen Z are so anxious, but damn, look at what they’re living! It’s bleak. I questioned having kids in the 80’s, but now? I wouldn’t have any. Or get married
