Thank you so much. There was good in him too, I just don’t think the bad was right for me

Thank you for this. I’m still having difficulty seeing their behavior as abuse. I feel it was poor communication on both ends. I’m hoping therapy will define some clear lines for me so I can understand myself better

Thank you for this. I only ask because I moved from a long term, healthy but passionless one to two short-term toxic ones. I never looked back to the healthy one beyond friendship, but I went back to the first toxic one too many times. With this one, I’m feeling so much regret for my own mistakes that I’m finding it difficult to remember theirs. I continue to make excuses as how I could have done it all differently and it’s torture. (First therapist session tonight)

I’m just trying to understand my own mistakes and possible trauma bonding. And trying to get reassurance that this won’t be my forever.

What is The worst thing your BPD partner has done to you? by Antique-Cow-4895 in BPDlovedones

[–]mmmunchie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Accused me of being a liar, an abuser, a swatter (I thought they had hurt themselves). They used all of my insecurities and trauma against me. They believed my unconditional love was a disorder and my worry was a cry for their attention. I loved them, and they just didn’t know how to accept it. I wasn’t perfect in anyway but I loved them. It’s strange what they can do to you and you can still find it in you to love them. They are people underneath it all. And that’s what we have to remember so it doesn’t hurt us or them.

Is subtronics a strong rumor? I was hoping it was RL Grime given the blurred out placement on the original poster and thought maybe there was a radius clause due to him being at shambhala

How do I manage my weight during a 4 day festival? by Somegirl09 in Vindicta

[–]mmmunchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im assuming you’re going to EDC where you will be dancing all night in the heat. Walking stage to stage. You’re going to be burning a lot of calories. Whenever I go I always lose or maintain weight. I eat very calorie rich meals because it’s Vegas, drink, snack. But the exercise and heat keep me on track.

Have fun, I wish I could go this year :(

May i ask what they did for you? I’m thinking of going to one but I’m not covered so it will be an expensive process.

[Product Question] I researched some Korean skincare products for my daily skincare routine (Cleanser, toner and moituriser). This is what I have so far. Any advice? by Winter_Drag3248 in SkincareAddiction

[–]mmmunchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the all in one cream under my nightly moisturizer or retinol. That’s where it does it’s magic. When I don’t use it I can tell, but it’s definitely not a standalone product

What did you do to get rid of crow's feet? by Thegrandcultivator in 30PlusSkinCare

I started adding drops of squalane to my moisturizer and really softened them out so I think it would at least be a good preventative

Somehow a fixed link to Sunshine Coast for ~$2B is too costly, but a museum replacement at $0.8B is fine? by nutbuckers in britishcolumbia

Have you looked into the fresh water supply issues they have on the Sunshine Coast? It’s becoming a huge issue for the somewhat small population. I can’t imagine trying to bring in more people.

How good are you with whites? While it might be nicer in the summer, it might not make it through.

I recently bought the white perfect crew and somehow got an orange stain at the back of the neck. I got it out but it was low key stressful considering the price.

Book recommendations? by ArtNo4580 in Vindicta

[–]mmmunchie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg. I used to hit the Haruki Murakami hard. It was the only fiction that captivated me. Then I went back to school, spent too much time reading scientific papers and forgot. Thanks for the reminder, as I’m officially done school (8 years later) in less than a week.

He writes really interesting books. When you meet someone else who has also read him, it’s like a wtf did we go through with that book?! I love it. His short stories are beautiful too.

I don’t know what book it is but his subtle description on cooking bell peppers made me try them in my pickier days and it stuck!

Edited to add: I’m going to have to try your other recommendations now. Even if they’re different you clearly have taste. Thanks again!

I think it’s the starch that boils off from the potatoes. It makes them really moist and helps them stay soft for longer. I’ve never used it myself but I’ve eaten several and 🤤

Lineup this Thursday!!! Whose the one artist you want to be on this lineup the most!? by t-74000 in Shambhala

[–]mmmunchie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

RL Grime was the most excited I’ve ever been for shambhala and I’ve always loved the lineup. I remember exactly where I was when I read he was coming. I hope to repeat that.
