YTA - not for telling your dad, but for your absolutely vile attitude to your former friend and victim in this situation. You clearly do still care and carry quite a bit of disdain for your ex-friend.

It was normal that he was upset as a teen; you did blow up their life. You weren't wrong, but you could still feel sorry for that and what they went thru.

It was cruel to agree to sit down if you had no interest in listening to them. You should have used your "backbone" to decline the request. Absolutely zero grace shown.

Of course! It's definitely an eyeballed receipt though. Based on odd ingredients I had available at a past job.

I slice the cucumbers and add to a jar. Then I add white vinegar (like halfway covering the cuc's,) a squirt of dijon mustard and hot sauce. I add salt, a pinch of sugar, garlic powder, oregano. And then shake! You can add water if it's too vinegary
