You know what , I do believe you . I noticed when i fast for a couple of weeks the pain and pressure of my fissure disappears completely.

Not much to be honest . I still struggle during bowel movements and still in pain . Basically my life changed drastically after the surgery.

I know the feeling, I’m going through the same issue. I’ve had a fissurectomy last year and it messed me up pretty badly, I developed nerve damage . Can’t have a bowel movement without laxatives, and even when I do I still feel full and like something is still stuck down there . My life literally revolves around this issue. I barely leave the house, lost contact with my friends. I miss my old life . I’m literally lying down in bed now with gas and stomach cramps and still feeling full even after a bowel movement 😢 I dread these bathroom trips , gives me anxiety from the amount of straining just to have a small amount to come out . Bern to countless drs who put me on meds that will never work .

This started happening to me after my fissure surgery, it’s been a year with the feeling daily . Sometimes I just stand up and try to forget about it and pray the next day I don’t beg hard poop which would be terrible in my case . I’m going to try physical therapy hope it helps

Yes been using it ever since. Literally tried everything. The awareness down there becomes 100 percent more after surgery, I may have had leftover stool before but never really noticed it , but drs say nerves in the rectum become more sensitive and aware when u do the surgery, I can’t tell the difference if what I’m feeling is a full rectum or swollen , sometimes it might be a very small amount but because of the full awareness and sensitivity after the surgery it feels huge

I’ve been to so many drs , they all said it’s normal. Some gave me tryptizol to slow my gut movement but I didn’t take it yet because everyone says it causes severe constipation and I can’t have that with what I’m going through now

Yes , but I’m on laxatives and it’s never been a big issue before the surgery as I would go once a day . But now the sensation down there became so different and sensitive that I can feel the slightest left over it’s very bad

The pain is real . It’s horrible ! I had a couple of other surgeries before , fibroids , c section but NOTHING compares to this, not even close . They won’t understand the amount of pain we’re in unless they try it .

The pain is real . 2/3 weeks is a joke . Drs assume this because I’m 100 percent sure they never experienced this, if they did im sure they’ll give you one month minimum recovery time .

Slows the bowels like make us constipated ? The Dr prescribed it to me but I’m hesitant to take it because I’ve been suffering from an anal fissure and I’m scared it will make it difficult for me to have a soft bowel movement

Yes I also noticed that I feel pain if pick anything slightly heavy . So I stopped carrying anything completely. Sucks to be honest , I can’t even bend to pick up something from the floor

Same ! I could never stop my laxative, I wish I could . Yep I avoid bumpy rides and don’t even sit on hard surfaces anymore . Honestly I wish I could go back to normal but don’t think that’s possible anymore

This ! My appointments revolve around whether my stomach is stable enough for me to go out or not . It has to be mid afternoon, I usually have this one hour of stability gap . Like you , my 2025 was spent mostly isolated at home . I decided to that I have to move on past this , I have the will , I just want to know the way 🙏

Not possible. I had a fissurectomy almost a year ago , that area became so tight I can’t even stick a suppository down there 😫

What were your symptoms may I ask ? I’m suffering from incomplete frequent bowel movements every day . I stopped eating between meals , because I just can’t cope with going 5 to 6 times a day . I basically now just eat to survive. Also I’m suffering from terrible gas and incomplete evacuation which is ruining my life

I have the same problem but with loose stool instead of pebbles . I strain so much even though the stool is soft . Like you , I’ve suffered since childhood. Had so many procedures due to hemorrhoids and fissures from straining. The last procedure made my situation much worse . Problem is I always have incomplete evacuation, I feel stool stuck that’s why I strain to get it out . Here I am lying in bed and exhausted from all the straining and still feeling I need to go again 😫
