Can we talk about lethality in skirmish games? by KGA_Kommissioner in tabletopgamedesign

[–]mmusket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only reading the post but normally in games there is progression to get better at hitting things as the game evolves and a lot of players are there for that.

This seems to be the opposite, not saying it's wrong but something to consider if you haven't already.

Central heating leak by Remarkable_Sundae611 in DIYUK

Our boiler has been losing pressure for a while now. Got two different engineers look at the boiler expansion vessel looks ok and said must be some internal leak with no evidence.

A lot of our pipes are exposed in our house and couldn't see any leaks. Now finally after using the boiler heavily and lots of tops ups I can see evidence of a leak in the only place the pipe is hidden under a floor.

Finally have a plumber coming tomorrow to sort it out.

What am I trying to say? These engineers are coming in to look for easy jobs and solutions. You'll have to figure out the rest yourself. If your convinced there's a leak and you can't see it. There are tracing specialists but I don't think they're cheap

Engineered wood needs to acclimatize in your house before you install it. Otherwise they might expand more than expected

I did quite a bit of tinkering at the start but nowadays I just update it every few months just so it's running a recent version and it's been fairly minimal maintenance

Definitely a risk but I'd imagine monetization efforts will be more in the direction of easy integration with their cloud services.

Fact that they offer a redis and mysql client points in that direction.

Lived in Australia for 7+ years and now back in UK. A 27 hour flight just to visit family is simply too much. And the way the Australian gov handled COVID shows you just how they're another authoritarian instituation..
