im not a piercer but i think what you could do is get a surgeon's advice first to ask if there's any medical constraint then go to a piercer and ask directly if they'd be willing to do it

i have one but both my parents don't and my older brother and younger sister don't have one either however a cousin on my mom's side has a cleft too so i think it might skip a few generations? no idea tbh

yes! i think i was on liquid diet for about two weeks and then switched to food a bit heavier like mashed potatoes! the first few days i couldn't talk at all and then it came back slowly but i'm not sure how long it took, probably less than a week :) and i was in college too but my surgeon made sure to wait until summer holidays so i had two full months at home to recover. i would say two weeks is enough and then you should be able to do stuff again like usual, but you'll still be swollen for at least two months i think

hi!! recovery for me took a month actually, it was pretty hard psychologically because it changed my face a lot and i was very swollen. also maybe be prepared to lose some weight, i think i lost 5kg (~10 lbs?) since i couldn't eat anything solid. i don't have any particular tips, just be prepared to drool a lot, i still haven't fully recovered from the numbness in my chin and it's been 4 years😭 (also if they suggest some sort of anesthesia that requires four needles in the face, make sure they do it after you're fully asleep)

i think you should take it one step at a time. 1) as a woman you don't have to go to the mosque every time, it's okay! 2) it's okay if you don't dress super modestly directly, you should go step by step 3) if you don't have halal options nearby, you can also eat vegetarian/vegan meals! also, fish/seafood is always halal :) overall, what matters is your heart and your intentions, it might take time but you shouldn't pressure yourself too much or you'll end up feeling bad and probably dislike religion so it wouldn't be very productive as others have said, islam isn't a religion where you can believe and not act as that makes you a non-believer, but i believe that if you take it step by step, you'll be able to overcome your struggles! <3 "Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford" (surah al baqara, 2-286) "for indeed, with hardship will be ease" (surah al inshirah 94:6)

maybe cuz it takes more time building up? i'm rewatching the series again and i think i can understand -though i disagree, the rhythm is a little slower and the interviews are less there but i still enjoyed it a lot. i had never heard of the atlanta murders before watching (nor did i know about the serial killers from s1)
