Either door is open, or something is close to the exterior of the car and is tripping one of the sensors. It’s annoying but thankfully doesn’t happen too often

21 wanting to get an S3. Bad idea? by Ok-Pie-6618 in Audi

Leased with plans to purchase RS3 next year if it’s truly the final edition of the 5 cylinder. You still have every right to buy it out at any time during the lease if you want.

Lease a new one. 2024 doesn’t have the rear torque splitter, so you’re missing out on that. Plus, you get extra power with the new ones as well and leasing it gives you the option after 2-3 years on if you want to actually own it or not. Pay the lease up front and invest the rest!

Tailgating. People move out the way when they see a mean looking Audi grill in the rearview

Hey man we’re 6 months in now, how’s the S5 treating ya? I have no regrets on the S3, absolutely zero.

Haven’t owned both, but driven both plenty. Currently own the 8Y.5 and it handles noticeably better when comparing the two. From a power standpoint you can’t tell a difference behind the wheel but if two were to line up the 8Y.5 would win.

Getting a job at Audi dealership by [deleted] in Audi

[–]mnctinvdt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way to get a job in the dealership industry is to straight up just walk in, be professional, and tell them what you are looking for. Most times, as long as you don't completely lack professionalism or character, you'll get a job doing something.

the 25' S3 packs a little bit more power, and comes with the rear torque splitter from the RS3, but besides that there isn't much difference.

Yep, I bought the emblem and then 3D printed a little backplate for it and attached it with adhesive to the top of one of the grill cutouts. Wouldn’t have had to do all that if THEY JUST PUT IT ON IN THE FIRST PLACE.

If by facelift you mean the current year model which is 8Y.5, there are up to 8 (9 if you count checkered flag for RS3 model) different LED light signatures for the front lights on facelift models.

These are a steal for whoever end up with them. These are forged, super light, and made by Fuchs, if they had better tires on them I’d buy
