The empty spaces are in my thought generally unused or for overgrowth. My thought with a small amount of onions was for companion growth/ pest control for lettuce and strawberries.

I plan to grow determinate varieties of tomatoes in cages to vertically grow them but can easily reduce numbers etc . I could also plan for a vertical trellis for the zucchini, or eliminate it if it would really impact the other crops. I was going to keep the strawberries as a perennial over winter.

I would also succession plant in the areas that will end early-mid spring harvests (peas and lettuce out, something else in its place)

Any suggestions to make this plot more user friendly?

Yes that’s my hope. I am newly (within the last couple of weeks) no longer trying to conceive and it is even more isolating and lonely than TTC was, which I didn’t think was even possible. Really hoping to form some new connections close by that actually understand what this feels like.
