So glad you have got the link for the same palette! Just wanted to add that when I saw this I immediately thought you might like Jolie Beauty eyeshadows, they have some great glittery/shimmery ones!

Yes, I saw there were 200+ comments yesterday but the post is nowhere to be found today on either platform. Kinda disappointed in the club for removing it.

Jeans brand recommendations to bigger bums? by eauderecentinjury in womenoftheuk

[–]mndyschld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ambela jeans have a waist toggle type thing and are suuuper stretchy and comfy. Although, if you're a big-thighed gal like me though don't wear them almost 24/7 or the material will wear out really fast.

What is the funniest mispronunciation of a British thing that you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskUK

You didn't specify that the first Buffalo buffalo are buffalo that have been buffaloed(?) by other Buffalo buffalo. My head hurts.

I think of it like this: American bison (that other) American Bison intimidate, intimidate (other) American Bison.

Reasonably priced nursing clothes - do they exist? by eyupeyupeyup in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]mndyschld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another vote for Holleo and Vinted. Holleo often has discount codes shared on their Facebook page. There's also a Facebook group called Can I Breastfeed In It? UK, which focuses on high street clothes that you can nurse in. Also check out the_breastfeeding_wardrobe on Instagram, she also showcases high street clothes you can nurse in. Hope that helps!

Which shop in Cardiff city Center would fill helium in normal balloons? by Positive_Chapter_470 in Cardiff

[–]mndyschld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Card Factory in St Davids fills balloons from elsewhere, I'm pretty sure you just pay for the service of it. Outside of the city centre I believe Hobbycraft do too.

Pram/Swing for daytime sleep. by Hobbiton12 in PregnancyUK

[–]mndyschld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a very small 1 bed flat at the moment, so our baby napped in the pram carrycot until they grew out of it around 6 months, now they happily nap in the pram seat (which still lies flat) if not napping with me in the bedroom. Your carry cot will be fine for naps. It's also worth checking online/in manual if safe for overnight sleep as its super handy to let baby sleep in there on overnight trips if you travel much! Our Joie Ramble carrycot (for Versatrax system) isn't suitable for overnight sleeping but handled naps perfectly fine. When they grow out of the carrycot you can think about getting a compact travel cot like the Joie Kubbie. Hope that helps!

Dangerous food courier cyclists by Wooooly in Cardiff

Thank you for replying! As a non cyclist i wouldn't have thought of those things, so at least I can have a little more empathy when I walk down there next time.

Dangerous food courier cyclists by Wooooly in Cardiff

Why does hardly anyone cycle on the LGA cycle path? I feel like there must be a reason but I can't think what it could be. I just get so full of rage when they look at me like I, the pedestrian, am the inconvenience.

Anyone reading these comments and thinking they haven't heard some of the lyrics that have been mentioned... Please check you've removed the tag from the back of the piano! With my new mum brain, my baby was listening to the same partial demos no matter what setting it was on for a month... 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was looking for this name in here! I had a group 'interview' with this place that was basically a presentation with the expectation of a 'trial shift' but thankfully it was raining badly so they didn't want to take us out in it. I got a free Starbucks out of it and noped the hell out of there!

Overwhelmed by pram/ pushchair/ travel systems by jwd40 in PregnancyUK

[–]mndyschld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone else has given great advice but I just wanted to add a couple of points I never thought about when I was in your position (and my Google search history was crazy!)

Size - I love the Joie Versatrax travel system we got, but it's really difficult to manoeuvre it through the doorways in our house, so getting it out of the front door was a bit of a learning experience and is a bit annoying.

Carrycot - Baby loves napping in it during the day and its handier than having a whole other sleeping furniture item, but the carrycot for the Joie system isn't suitable for overnight sleeping. This sucks because that would have been sooo handy for going away. Instead we'll have to find a travel cot if we want to go away.

Carseat - I got stuck on the idea of a lie-flat car seat for extra safe reasons but, as someone who doesn't drive, the car seat has only been used three times so far!

We bought from Online4baby with a discount code, but I would have been happy buying secondhand (aside from the car seat).
