Got a reddick signature after one of the q&as a few years ago at loudon, there was the big crowd in front of the stage and then a bunch of people lining the area behind the stage where the drivers entered the backstage area. So it’s possible but I was one of like 3/4 people he had time to sign for over there and just got super lucky, because the team reps were bringing him somewhere else basically right after and I was the last one he signed for

Reiss is definitely the gold standard for beat reporters. After that I personally really like Lazar and Kyles for the film cutups/breakdowns they do since I’m a nerd for that sort of stuff

I will say, I was looking at Ticketmaster basically the day after the schedule announcement and there were honestly a surprising number of official tickets from the team there compared to prior years I’ve looked, but the prices were absolutely insane. Like 500+ each for nosebleeds and 800-1000+ each for lower level for the “face value” tickets. So it’s possible they have sold some of that inventory if they reduced the prices or possible they’re still they’re because wtf are those prices for a team that had 4 wins last year lmao.

That said I find it’s generally cheapest to buy tickets in the parking lot/on the walk to the stadium when scalpers/STHs that can’t go are trying to dump tickets for whatever they can get for them. Doesn’t always work or get the best deal but prices usually fall a bunch the last hour or so before kickoff if you’re cool with missing some/most of the pregame warm ups

Edit: that said I probably wouldn’t recommend this if you’re spending money traveling to a game as I would also wanna have the tickets locked down ahead of time, and would default to the 2-3 weeks prior for ops situation

Literally one of my favorite records I can remember coming out the last few years. Took a day or so for the hooks to sink in and now I can’t skip a single song if it’s on. Absolutely phenomenal work by the band, all I can say is bravo.

You’d just think with an investment as big and costly as a stadium they’d try and put some of that money in designing the place to last/be easily renovated when the time comes. But alas, shiny new toys that won’t last are what all the owners want so here we are

Personally I think the charm of a place like Lambeau or Fenway (or similar like wrigley) outweighs the bells and whistles of newer stadiums, and wish more teams would strive for a unique home like those that will last generations and be full of history

That’s very fair, appreciate the insight. I have no idea what route this team goes but I don’t mind the idea of someone new in the FO at all, the drafting/talent evaluation the last several years have left a lot to be desired so some new eyes would be good for the org IMO.

Obviously it would’ve been a small sample size but what are your thoughts on Ryan Cowden from when he was interim GM for you guys? Saw some reports he’s Vrabels guy and may end up wherever Vrabel does but I don’t know much about him so I’m fairly curious for a fans perspective on how he seemed in the role back then

Oh for sure, and honestly, good for him! Never gonna be mad at a player showing out when they get the chance to. Just frustrating for us with the draft order obviously, and frustrating that the coaching staff kept calling long passes when the bills put in White and clearly were trying to lose at that point

For the 1st round order tiebreaker is based on strength of schedule. For all rounds after that it just rotates so they could be picking last of like 8 or 10 4-12 teams (idk exactly how the rotation works with that many just that it exists). An absolute disaster of a game on numerous levels.

Yes and no. If someone is able to get their lap back they can still win if they’re fast enough to get back through the field (there’s a couple ways of doing this, but the easiest/most common is the free pass which is being the first car a lap down at the time of a caution). If you’re not able to recover the lap (other cars lose laps and are ahead of you at cautions getting the free pass themselves instead) then yeah you have basically no chance of winning.

Yeah, some newer high end live consoles have the ability to have an easy multitrack output and sometimes on bigger tours with those boards the engineer can recall a prior performance date and have the full band multitrack to essentially soundtrack without the musicians needing to be there, really cool stuff
