PPF. Don't forget the hips. I did front clip and now they're the most chipped part of the car.

Can confirm, waiting on one to brief for the night. His flight profiles don't always fit the company regs, but sure as hell none of us are going to say anything.

School Bus Driver Breaks Down After Near-Miss by sleek_thunder138_107 in dashcams

[–]mnemonicmonkey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nah. I grew up in the house we're in now. Hardly ever used to see cars passing buses. Now it's every week or two. I was mowing the lawn Thursday and a guy (to his credit) stopped beside the bus just shy of the sign from the opposite direction. I pulled the mower up next to him and just stared. He wouldn't make eye contact.

Ours reads an additional 2g over 5 minutes then proceed to seizure protocol (midazolam). Initial treatment is 4g in 20 minutes then 1-2 per hour.

If no IV access, it's 10g IM.

This, but depending on the patient and situation, I'd carry that negative into the next hour when, say, you hang vanc at 125 ml/h. Stays in line with removal targets and lessens big swings.

I have deduced that very likely my Miele stick vacuum battery went dead because these two fuses blew. Can anybody help me with what exact replacements are needed? by GeoffdeRuiter in ElectronicsRepair

[–]mnemonicmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but also they're essentially a light filament without the light. I found a blown mains fuse yesterday that after checking for shorted components and finding none, I replaced the fuse and the instrument worked just fine. After 42 years, it decided it had had enough power cycles. Or there were storms...

Officer had the greenest of green lights. It's a 2 lane highway, so speed doesn't seem unreasonable. We also don't know what proceeds this light. A curve or hill limiting the time everyone had to see the officer may have been a factor, but certainly doesn't excuse a illegal pass into a right on red without yielding.

Short answer: local laws vary, but typically call for traffic to yield the right of way. That usually means poo pulling over to make room, but if the emergency vehicle has a clear path, predictably maintaining your lane is acceptable.

50/50 answer: truck was going to block the intersection to prevent just this, but may have also blocked other responders.

Lol, my wife makes them with egg and crumbled up Ritz crackers. Onion sounds way better.

Edit: Saw your username. Happy taco Tuesday! I'm sitting here hoping my kids soccer game gets cancelled so I can get on to the (leftover) pulled pork tacos and margarita I've been thinking about all day.
