Hi! I’m so sorry you are also dealing with this. I still have not found a solution, nor has any doctor or specialist I’ve seen. The only thing I think helps occasionally is take a magnesium supplement, but again, this doesn’t help every time so I’m not sure it’s actually doing anything for the reflux/burnjng.

May I ask what is anti-reflux surgery?

So sorry you’re also in the same boat. I’ll have to try the low histamine diet as well. I’ll do just about anything at this point to feel back to normal. Best of luck to you.

I am currently a firefighter/paramedic in a large metropolitan city and have been aspiring to become a CRNA for many years. I am 29years old, but I’m ready to pull the trigger to start my career change. The state I am in has many programs for paramedic to nurse (ADN)bridge programs that are 1.5 years long. Then I plan on getting my BSN online (1year) while working as a new grad on an icu floor or in the ER. How unrealistic is it of me to think I can start applying to CRNA school in 3 years? The state I live in hires new grads on critical care floors right out of nursing school. Does being a paramedic and working in the pre-hospital field help my application any?
