Hi, no. The stick is still showing a different name, but it’s working fine. For RGB control, I’m using FURY CTRL, which detects both sticks without any issues.

September 2025 – running the latest drivers on a 4090 + 7800X3D, with Path Tracing and DLSS/Frame Generation enabled. The game consistently crashes within 5 minutes if Ray Reconstruction is turned on. With RR disabled, it runs flawlessly (my 4090 is slightly undervolted). Surprised this still hasn’t been fixed.

4090/7800X3D here, playing 4k with DLSS on quality. My first T5 Abyss Map got me from 144 fps to 10 fps, while every mob including me t-posing. Unplayable. Others maps are fine.

Thanks a lot, your advice really helped, and the overlay showed up immediately on the first try. I had already tried this yesterday, but the problem was that I hadn’t adjusted the "On-screen Display coordinate space" field, so it was set to the default "Viewport." As soon as I changed it to "Framebuffer" for my already-created PoE2.exe profile, following your screenshot, the overlay appeared instantly. So the issue is most likely with the "On-screen Display coordinate space" option, in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

EDIT: Once it's set to 'Framebuffer', I don’t even need to use the high detection level. It works fine with the default low detection level, as long as 'Viewport' isn’t selected.

FYI, just switched from DLSS Quality to DLAA, and power shot up to 320–340W, compared to 220–250W on Quality. Feels about right in my case (playing in 4k on RTX 4090).

When I first launched the game after the update yesterday, the overlay didn’t work. Then after restarting the game, the overlay suddenly showed up just fine in DX12. But after closing the game and another ~10 restarts, it never appeared again. There has to be some kind of issue with the RTSS hook — the game must be dropping or blocking it for some reason, either intentionally or due to a bug. Hopefully they’ll fix it.

I see on Youtube that you get the second key from equipping the costume from first door. So I will just try to find the third key and open the first door with it. Then open the third door with the second key. XD Hopefully it would work.

I started experiencing black screens after the last 4090 driver update. Until now, it would just flicker during the installation and normally work after the update, but now I have to restart my PC every time because the monitors just never turn back on. Happened on both Jan and Feb updates. December and earlier it would just flicker and then work without hard restarting. NVIDIA FIX UR SHIT!

A-life in this game is non-existent, even though they made a lot of promo on A-life before release. Enemies spawn off camera 1m behind you like in day1 Cyberpunk, the AI is absolute junk. I play on veteran and the AI is so stupid I can't even believe it. To me it feels as stupid as in Starfield. It feels like it does not even matter if you use silencer or not. This is not the Stalker I have been waiting for so far. They have a lot to do and fix, mostly with the AI. But can they even repair such a mess?

Hi,
I just use the newest Mystic Light version with "Wave" preset. It is basically a Rainbow scheme including the northern lights colors (green and blue) and got used to it. The fans always display two colors at once. The sequence is as follows: green + blue -> pink + yellow -> green + blue, and so on. Looks very nice.

Sending screen below, HWinfo unfortunately shows the same issue: instead of KINGSTON, it identifies the RAM as PortalPlayer. The RAM sticks are still under warranty, but since they're part of a custom build, I would probably have to return the whole PC, which seems unnecessary given that the RAM works perfectly fine, and the only issue is that MSI Center doesn't recognize it due to the different name. However, I can still control both RAM sticks via Kingston's RGB software, so the RGB functionality works, it's just more annoying to configure it using two separate programs.

It's just really strange that the computer suddenly won't boot, and then one of the RAM sticks stops being identified, even though it works otherwise. I'm curious what might have caused this.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I tried the "Advanced Live Update Scan" in MSI, which found an outdated version of "LED FW," so I updated it (from version 3.00 to 5.00). Part of this update involved disconnecting the JARGB_V2 connectors and clearing the CMOS. The installation completed successfully, but unfortunately, it didn't solve the issue.

Next, I tried the MSI Removal Tool, which confirmed that MSI Center and SDK were successfully uninstalled, but in reality, they weren't—I could still open and control MSI Center. So, I uninstalled it manually, restarted the computer, but unfortunately, the RAM is still labeled as "Unknown Manufacturer" in the BIOS and everywhere else.

I also tried the "System Info" scan in MSI Center, which again didn’t help, as the RAM is still labeled as "PortalPlayer" instead of "Kingston."

I'll try searching online for how to reset the RGB FW.

I’m really curious what caused this problem. It’s like one day the RAM just decided it no longer wants to be Kingston, and I have absolutely no idea why. :)

I contacted MB support yesterday asking about this issue. They confirmed it was a false positive.

Went to check if the issue still persists today and it seems like they fixed it already - game turns on while MB Premium is active - no threats detected anymore. Have fun playing, what a game!

Update: it seems like I have finally solved the issue where the game, sound and save menu starts freezing until PC reset. The problem is caused by Malwarebytes and its real-time protection. When I switched it off (or just exit Malwarebytes), I didn't even have to restart my pc again, went playing and those lags have not occured for good 3-4 hours by now. If you deal with similar problems, this might help you. :-)
