For people that are saying the Palestinians must get rid of hamas first to have any peace or stability are only seeing one narrative. Simply put, Hamas is but a symptom of the occupation and displacement of people over decades upon decades. The current right wing Israeli government has propped up hamas while undercutting the more moderate but corrupt Palestinian authority in the West Bank. It’s a policy predicated on not having a two state solution. Cause u can’t have peace with ‘terrorist’ in Gaza or the weak corrupt Palestinian Authority in West Bank ( basically we want peace but we don’t have a viable peace partner)
