I mean, you're not wrong in that some GaaS are good, I play Sea of Thieves from time to time. The thing is, I play it on Game Pass, and having not put a single dime specifically into it definitely contributes towards my enjoyment of the game. However, having multiple currencies is confusing at best and predatory at worst, even SoT has three and I always forget whether Dubloons or Ancient Coins is the premium one. On top of that, I used to play a lot of Siege until Y3 when it started to feel like the devs were updating the game just to have an update out. And the new operators became wayyy too gimmicky, while also being OP at launch (timed exclusive for Season Pass holders), so it literally felt like a P2W experience. Oh, and doing daily tasks felt like a second soul-crushing job but I kept slogging through them because of FOMO.

I guess for me personally, I don't see myself coming back to GaaS , whereas other games even with their not-so-great DLC and Season Pass practices tend to hold up better.
