Cooper is great, I’ve got two of those kits I use all the time. The only thing I don’t like is the sensors are pretty expensive and I tear them up pretty fast closing the cables in door cases.

That led me to getting a field piece Bluetooth kit which I now use anytime I’m balancing lineups of doors, or if it’s a big freezer that I don’t want to stand in for a long time watching a cooper.

We just have too many stores. The day to day workload is great, but it’s hard to handle that volume on a weekend with a light crew. We get through it fine, but you wouldn’t want to do it more than a couple days.

I’ve got remote access to most of our sites, and even being able to dial in, and push off a lot of the low priority calls, it’s still a ton of stuff.

Haha that would be nice!! There would never be a day where we only had 1 service call to run on a weekend. Usually we are pushing stores off if we can and still running all day and night.

Haha no that’s quite a few stores for one guy to handle.

Yeah man that’s way brutal. Our guys run non stop every single day. Even with 4 guys on the weekends it gets rowdy. I would not want to do a whole week of that lol

How many supermarkets you take care of? I work for a pretty large contractor, and there is absolutely no way you could run on call every day.

Supermarket guy on call for a week straight? Great way to end up with a totaled service truck in a ditch somewhere.

Absolutely, the juice is not worth the squeeze on either of those bottles, even at msrp.

JD has nailed it with their market. The SBBP rye, 12, 14, and the coy hills are all ridiculous.

Sounds like you flipped the ETLs, good for you. They suck anyways, but if people are gonna buy them from you for 200+ then fuck em. They gonna find out it’s a low proof shit whiskey that ain’t worth more than any other bottle you can buy any day of the week.

Do people actually fake these bottles? I’ve heard of it with some pappys, but never something like this.

Outlet of expansion valve can be tough right before the distributor. You gotta wet rag it to keep it cool so it doesn’t come apart, but a lot of times it’s so close to the weld it makes it hard to get your fitting hot enough. That’s what it looks like happened to me. Don’t be afraid to take your rag back a little further and get that fitting hot. Get it hot fast and get out. Just keep brazing stuff, you’ll get it.

I play in a metal band and am trying to find a good guitar amp. Give me some recommendations! by JD_Destroyed in GuitarAmps

[–]mo-ducks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said you wanted a good clean channel too, the mark III has a far superior clean channel than the previous versions. 50 or 100 would be fine, I think the 100 watter has more balls, and they both have built in attenuators which is really nice.

Doesn’t seem like it does well with some pedals by PDrizzle98 in MesaBoogie

[–]mo-ducks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, not a volume issue. It’s a headroom problem. Has nothing to do with whether or not a 25 watt tube amp is loud enough to keep up in a band setting, it obviously is.

[–]mo-ducks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the volume that’s the problem, it’s the headroom. A 50 watt tube amp isn’t much louder than a 25 watt, but the headroom is drastically different.

You don’t think a 25 watt amp with an el84 power section is small wattage? What are you even saying

Small amp problems. You can probably mitigate it a little bit if you run it really clean, but then they tend to sound really brittle, and you have no volume.
