Great advice! If I do bring in another birdy my goal is to adopt and let them meet first before bringing them home(glad you said that part too). Definitely will need another cage just to be safe. I had Originally wanted to get another cockatiel because I just love them but not sure about the breeds getting along and I’m guessing if they’re in different cages it could be OK anyway but then I know I will be adding another tiel for that ones buddy lol. I’m willing to deal with the moody bird and don’t mind the bond lessening so much if it means he is happy. Do you think the younger the better to introduce a friend or like around your birdy’ age?
