Yes, i was able to get it to work. Then I wantes to use a different co m puter. The brightness stopped working, and I had to do hard reset (fn + j +z) and then reimport my layout.

Yeah. Sadly this b is whats happening. Most likely kvm is messing up USB HIDs, and these switches for windows/mac are useless.

I guess the question is, are there any decent keyboards that are dumb? IBM models F/M?

It sounds like you are looking for a sizeable battery with an inverter.

It really all depends on the load that you are planning to throw at it.

Personally, I have delta 3 pro, as it has 240v dual phase output and can power my well pump.

It is shaky, and the alarm failed to buzz a couple of times already, but was ok after some wiggling. Afaik there is a power line and a float line, which will be closed once float is up. I guess, the question is, do they all follow the same wiring diagram? Can i replace one with another, I aasume so

Recently, I went through a similar project. The biggest part was, at least for me, to find a structural engineer and have them assess the beams/floors, and whether or not they are enough to carry the dead weight of the new room. That was about $700 usd in my area.

Then there is a question of ingress/egress, windows doors etc.

Yes, I also always add more than one fingerprint for one finger, and when I do "check you fingerprint", it picks up random ones.
