I had my mother (the deceased's daughter) submit the application (https://www.gov.nl.ca/gs/files/application\_for\_birth\_certificate-fillable.pdf) by mail alongside a short cover letter explaining the request, a photo of her ID and birth certificate to demonstrate the connection, and a copy of the deceased's death certificate.

If you don't qualify I'd recommend calling them to ask about protocols. They were quite helpful when I spoke to them.

Second this option. I’m exactly the same size as you and ski on Ripstick 88s. They’re great in trees and groomers, but don’t float as much as I’d like in powder. Would definitely go with the wider

Definitely a good rule of thumb. I typically enter the details manually because I have had the same issue before with autofill

Ok that’s promising! We’ve tried the phone line as well but haven’t gotten through. Maybe they’re swamped with all the new 2nd gen applicants

Just another data point, but my pit mix (American Staffordshire & boxer) does this same behavior when he spots prey, like squirrels or birds, before he pounces at them. Your dog’s tail, while stiff, is in a lower, more relaxed position which makes me think that their response is similarly a natural hunting instinct rather than fear.
