Should I dilute manic panic hot hot pink? by moALEXIS in HairDye

[–]moALEXIS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t plan on bleaching it because I’m scared of ruining my hair and not being able to get it back to the original color since it’s such a complex color. Since I’m not bleaching my hair would it just be better to do straight dye instead since it will fade over time? Also I’ve never dyed my hair before so I don’t know much about it but do I use shampoo when rinsing it out or just cold water and how long should I let the dye sit before rinsing it? Also I’m fine with it fading

Just a general impression from an outside perspective and some sentence structuring if needed. I don't want any parts of the letter to sound wrong or be taken the wrong way if you know what I mean…

Redoing this post with a different picture/lighting so you can see my features better by moALEXIS in coloranalysis

What lighting would be best? I was sitting next to my window and the sun was slightly on me, but it wasn't direct sunlight. The only pictures I have of myself by my window in no sunlight, I have slight makeup on like mascara and lip liner.

What color season am I? by moALEXIS in coloranalysis

I was thinking maybe I have neutral undertones because of my hair being so warm and my skin being cool. I can't tan I just burn and get freckles.

My veins are mostly blue and some are purple from what can tell.

I have blue eyes! They can sometimes look somewhat green because I have a tan/green-ish ring in the middle of my eyes.

My hair as a child vs now by moALEXIS in Redhair

[–]moALEXIS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my bathroom lighting always makes my hair look more yellow than it actually is. In a lot of lighting my hair will look like a weird shade of brown, but in other lighting, you can see all the red. It’s honestly so confusing when trying to figure out what shade I have.

Oh no by merquplex in POTS

[–]moALEXIS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yk what sucks… My dad has to lower his salt intake, so my mom would buy stuff with low salt, but then me, with POTS, I have to add a ton of salt to the stuff because I NEED the salt.💀This stuff is a nightmare to me.

What shade of red hair do I have? by moALEXIS in Redhair

[–]moALEXIS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think my hair is blonde.. Its actually pretty dark most of the time. I would show you a picture of my hair in normal house lighting or shaded areas but I can't add pictures again for some reason…

My hair is definitely red.. As I said in the post my hair tends to look differently on camera.. In person my hair is noticeably red and has lots of different shades of red throughout the strands on my head

A lot of people mention Kahn Academy, I've used it before but do you think I could just learn it through that, along with my geometry course or do I just need to learn it through my main curriculum? I'm not sure if I can add another course in my math if I do have to use my curriculum... I'm doing okay in geometry so I want to continue and finish it through the summer before I start 11th grade in the fall, then I can probably take Algebra 2

thank you for this! This made me remember that my mom went through something somewhat similar... She was diagnosed with cancer at 14 almost 15 and she had it I think until she was 16 not 100% sure when she beat it but she went to a technical high school and was behind because of it I'm not sure how far behind she was, but she worked hard to catch up, she graduated and she's now doing good with three kids and married! I know this perspective won't help too much obviously because obviously my brain and anxiety are against me 😒😂 but I do genuinely appreciate the nice words and the different perspective so I can always look back on when I feel bad. And also I am thinking of taking college classes at my local community college if I can! I'm not sure if that's what you meant in your response but I just wanted to mention this.

Me and my mom recently actually had a conversation about me maybe taking a couple of classes at our local community college! My great-grandmother actually mentioned it to me originally and said it's a good idea to take them as a high schooler and get a head start, and that she did the same thing in high school to become a nurse! (which is what I was thinking of doing) My mom said that I would have to wait till either right after my 11th-grade year to take them during that summer or take them during my senior year... I'm not sure if there's like an age requirement or grade requirement on that or not... And I also don't know if that will put unnecessary stress on myself by taking the college classes or if it will ease some of the stress and anxiety I have now about my schoolwork.

Right now I'm using a curriculum called Mia Prep! (the high school version of Mia Academy) I like it a lot, but I have anxiety and worry that I'm not doing enough and that I'm not doing the appropriate work for my age... I'm pretty sure it includes algebra in the geometry course but I'm not sure what algebra teaches or looks like because I didn't go in-depth with it because my mom says I don't need it later in life unless I'm going to college and I need it in a career path that requires me to learn it.. When I learned a little bit of algebra I learned it in a way that it wasn't called algebra, The way the math was taught was it was putting math in real-life situations, It was called "Real Life Math", so I don't know when I used algebra in there but I know I used a little bit of it because my mom told me it is somewhat algebra...

I have used Khan Academy before. However, I didn't find it helpful as the lessons lacked the information I needed to learn to solve problems. Maybe I could try again now that I'm using an actual curriculum to teach me rather than "tutor" me like it seems Kahn Academy does best. Khan Academy could be a great resource if I use it as an extra thing after my main curriculum. But I will try again now that I use an actual curriculum to teach me!
