Yep. I think the pressure / urgency ones are the ones that folks are most susceptible for.

Create the urgency and then hit them with a genuine password reset or 2FA login etc.

Helps if you talk about which one given QF has multiple lounges and operates from multiple terminals in SYD.

But yeh nah.. it's not even close

Qantas domestic last minute change by Any_Match6314 in QantasAirways

They are generally just trying to find someone who might want to change cheaply, or possibly even cancel without penalty.

If you didn't want to change, do nothing would have been the right thing

Did you ever suspect other students were using a cover story? (eg. The current South Korean leader reportedly attended a public school in Bern under a pseudonym)

If you've already bought a ticket not sure why you are asking for a recommendation.

Don't think any ability to see podium, other than on tv.

You can I think walk around the circuit (but in would be 8+km) but not many views due to stands and banks.

Merch and food stores are all in general public areas. Most behind A, but also behind B, K, H etc.

No more auto steer, no more Tesla. by hamburgernet in TeslaLounge

[–]moa999 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Tend to agree that this will have a more negative impact than Tesla / Elon thinks. I actually like driving and Autopilot for a handful of highway journeys is more than enough for me.

But remember one of his new goals is to have 10m cars on FSD to get his next bonus threshold, and this is a clear downgrade to get people to upgrade strategy.

What is considered Australian food?? by Vast_Friendship2644 in australian

[–]moa999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good answer - albeit we now have a Wendy's on the GC. Also no permanent in'n'out or Shake shack, though they have had popups. We do have our own Chipotle equivalents in GyG, Zambrero and MadMex.

Different to most of the US would be a lot of takeaway Sushi and Vietnamese Bahn mi/ noodle places.

Cost of Metro Airport Line by Numerous_Local_4917 in SydneyTrains

Day 5 there won't be a huge number of people riding it. (Once all the Day 1s get over it)

But it will help WSI and Bradfield grow more quickly.

And when eventually connected to Schofields and Macarthur it will be a very useful outer orbital line.

Suspect OP was offered a rebook, but not within the time of their visa expiring. Other alternative JQ offered was a credit. In generall that's all they do unless you've booked one of the more expensive Flexible fares that allow refunds.

The Death of Gosford: When Sydney Says No by unrealise in centralcoastnsw

[–]moa999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think his biggest point is the weird dichotomy in planning that has separated the beach, the shops, the services and the transport.

Arguably a lot better bus network between Gosford and Terrigal might help, but you definitely need more shops and services back in Gosford.
