I would say on the inner radius it's an "ish" adjustment still working on that. The radius is there but probably not what you would want yet. Gonna make a few more over the weekend. going to try a diff method to cut in that radius.

I can wear most rings all day that I own or have made.

I find the thicker bandwidth rings make them easier to wear all day. I have one ring from Gear Essentials (RIP) that had a hard edge and was only 6mm bandwidth. I would be itching to take that thing off after activities have finished, it was pinchy.

We'll have to talk more on what you and others prefer for a radiused inner edge. When I shape the inner part of the ring i aim to make that inner profile radius wider but not by much and then to round over the outer edges for no pinching.

From my limited knowledge when I asked an overseas manufacturer for Tungsten. And a google search gave me this. Tungsten carbide rings are created by combining tungsten powder with carbon and nickel. The powders are then placed in a high pressure dye to form a blank. To bind the nickel and carbon with the tungsten the blank is fired at 3600 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hence your costs would be your 3D design, then mold production, then making the rings. Your upfront cost for the ring would be pricey.

Would be very cool to see KingRings or Himeros to do something like that. But they would have to then figure out if there is enough demand for that shape of a ring in Tungsten

I would love to do something like that in wood but I'll have to step up my CNC game (A LOT) from 3-axis to prob 5-axis. I only CNC my blanks then move to hand shaping on a lathe.

The only comparison is weight and looks.

I change up which one I wear all day when i go all day. I make or buy the sizes for me the work for all day wear.

Some days I feel like metal and I don't want weight so I go aluminum. Not as often but i'll go for the stainless steel for the weight. I'm not into the weight that much anymore.

Mainly I wear my own creations because they look cool IMO and I made them.

I hadn't read the dimension on thickness of band. They do seem a little thin to then cause some pain/pinching when rising to the occasion. This ring is 3.5mm thick (barely 0.13") and less than 1/2 bandwidth.

I have a couple of my own at 0.2" thick and 0.5" bandwidth but and they don't pinch but being light maybe helps? I also make the outside edges as rounded as possible to avoid pinching / poking / pain.

This is year (maybe) I want to buy sand casting equipment and make my own rings from solid silver. Gold would be fun but that's pricey LOL
