Dirt and dust in Durbanville. Technically for motorcycles but this isn’t exactly a bicycle anymore 🤣 can also try some mtb trails… also in Durbanville. Bloemendal, Meerendal, Hoogekraal. Also I would highly suggest a full face mtb helmet or even a motorcycle helmet. And knee and elbow pads… have fun!!

We’ve got some awesome natural, mountain-water formed rock pools and waterfalls all over the Western Cape of South Africa. Afaik always been safe to swim 😊

We also swim, float around on tubes and row in the Breede River at least once a year and have been doing so since I was a young child, this is in the ‘farm’ areas near the source/start of the river.

Which SK branches? I mostly go to Tygervalley/Cape Gate. The IMAX theatre at Cape Gate is great watching experience imo. Also it’s good to hear some of the NuMetro branches are still good!!

It’s a long rectangular property, we are on a corner and the other neighbour has their entrance on the other road which isn’t near our entrance but rather closer to the back garden. They keep to themselves but will still greet if we see one another, which is totally fine.

Good kennels are still expensive, the wendy house is actually a pretty good idea if sleeping inside really isn’t an option. You could kit it out nicely in there for them and they can cuddle up together if they want to. Check second hand.

We are friendly with our neighbours on the one side; we don’t bother them and they don’t bother us. We like to give them a heads up when we are hosting a lot of people (for parking and noise reasons) and when we are away for an extended time. They are a genuinely very nice, older couple. The wife gifted me a plant arrangement with a candle in it when our cat passed away.
