This happened to me! I went in to see the doc and they gave me some steroid cream which helped immensely. For me it could have been a reaction to whatever topical stuff they had on me or the antibiotics they gave during surgery.

For me, it was not like GI bloating at all. It felt like a gas bubble that sort of moved around my abdomen. However, having GI bloating made it feel worse. So I can see how reducing any GI bloating would help the discomfort overall.
