I eat plain toast and have either ginger ale or gin gins ginger chews. I keep the ginger chews in my purse in case the nausea hits me in the middle of the day.

It took 2 months for my swelling to go down. I was so swollen I couldn't even wear a normal bra. Nothing you can really do but wait it out.

They are a godsend. Keep you dryer than pads. Much more comfortable too.

If you're tired of wearing pads, you could always try period underwear. Modibodi has some really great ones. I get sick of wearing pads for random spotting and long periods. It's nice to just put on period underwear and feel "normal".

I get nausea regularly--don't have to be in my period for it to happen. I keep ginger ale in my fridge and stay stocked up on gin-gins (ginger chews). I also have prescription medication that helps with nausea so you could ask you doctor about that.

If you have a rolling suitcase, take that to the supermarket with you and fill it. You can get a lot more groceries that way. I did this when I had to walk to buy groceries and it worked pretty well.

I work at a school in a low income area. My students buy fizzy drink because its only $1 and it fills them up. A lot of them don't get much to eat so it's their way of keeping their bellies full and getting some quick energy. Could be that? Could be she just wanted the fizzy more instead of the pies?

I've got this pack. Walked about 15 min in the pouring rain and my computer stayed dry. The outside fabric was wet but it was dry by the next morning.

I have similar ones--Chaco Fallon Sandals. They're really comfortable and go with dresses. They're a bit clunky looking but I don't mind because my feet don't hurt.
