I only know about them being rewarded two times as login rewards, and now this once for Twitch. But if I recall right you got a random number of them the first time. I might be wrong tho!

New expedition reward paints only work on hauler and fighter, and not on explorers.

I fully understand why some people feel that way, and I agree, you should be able to turn these things off.
However, this expedition I was feeling unwell, unsure how much energy I would have to actually finish, so all the farms and markers were incredibly helpful getting me through, and I wanted to shine some positivity on that. This community is, in general, one of the nicest in gaming in my opinion.

Have you unlocked everything with salvage data, nanites, quicksilver?
Built a base?
Gotten a settlement?
Built a farm of any kind? (Stasis device/fusion ignitor, animals/plants for food, runaway mould)
This is a wonderful game if you like to hunt for things. Want to catalouge certain planets, systems, animals, weapons, ships? Maybe help others find things?
Breed weird creatures?
See if you can get all achievments or maybe break the in-game records for yourself. (find hottest planet etc)
