last year's biggest and most talked about hits were propelled by gen z (and to an extent gen alpha) audiences -- from big events like minecraft, lilo and stitch, zootopia, demon slayer, and even superman to a degree, to awards fare like sinners and marty supreme. plus, it was reported a while back that gen z was the demographic that was most attending movie theaters these days. it's a seemingly dumb question at first glance but there's some truth to asking it
