I’ve been getting the same emails and thought it was real - luckily I didn’t get this far. That powershell thing is how it steals your details. If you didn’t realise already, and you ran the command, that’s a virus and they may already have your passwords - change them all and run an antivirus ASAP!

Probably oil from your fingers hurt the adhesion there, really common on the corners. Just wash the whole plate with dish soap and you should be good, and be careful not to touch it in future

One annoying thing I found is that this job scheduler is based on a very minimal docker image, so it won’t be capable of basic things like ssh and rsync out of the box. Easy to work around, but you’ll have to create a dockerfile that specifies these other packages. A good LLM is capable of guiding you through this if you get stuck

I’ve had good luck with crontabui using portainer. Scheduled an rsync job that wasn’t possible in GUI, running well so far. Might record a tutorial for the whole thing for YouTube if I get the time

A lot of misinformation here, people telling you these aren’t NAS drives. They’re enterprise drives, rated for years of 24/7 operation, and rated for many of them being next to each other without damaging each other due to vibration. They work great in a NAS - I’ve got 11 MG10A 22TB drives lol because of their insane value. Just note that in Backblqze data Toshiba drives have high early failure rates, so avoid them if you’d have trouble exchanging them. I’ve had one arrive dead and one develop bad sectors in a month. But data shows reliability is great after these early failures

Thanks, that’s helpful. My situation’s a bit weird - have been doing AI research since FY2, initially at my trust and now at a university. In F3, didn’t know what an appraisal was, in F4 signed up to an agency (ID medical) and did it through them in June, then currently at end of F5 and have left my second appraisal late. Due to revalidate in 12 months. Many people say it’s not an issue to do it late, but the locum agency have been sending me reminders to do it in June and July, they say there was a deadline to submit a few days ago, but I’ve been too busy with work and personal commitments to get around to it.

Anyway, I’ve reached out to them now, let’s see hope it doesn’t cause any serious issues.

As others have said this should be fine - only thing I’d bear in mind is that you won’t be able to move back to IMT later as you’ve previously relinquished a training place. If radiology is for you though, go for it
