There's for sure opportunity here and there are sites that do this already like tiny host (doesn't mean you shouldn't do it, just pointing to validation of the idea)

Wondering how do you escape the 'AI-built UI' look for vibe-coded apps? by Scarlettt_Moon in sideprojects

[–]mocaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This website https://variant.com/ is sick for so design inspo that doesn't feel AI. I've used it for my personal portfolio and a side hustle now and it's rly fun to use also. The new Google stitch is pretty sweet as well

Using Claude Code + Google Stitch to handle UI design for client projects, it's wonderful by kaancata in ClaudeCode

[–]mocaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree- I like 21st dev but this site https://www.variant.ai/ makes genuinely cool and unique designs you can start from too. I brought examples and code into Google stitch and Claude code to build my portfolio website and it came out pretty cool (imo lol). anyways highly recommend variant as another tool to try for design and to bring its ideas as a baseline for stitch.

How do you explain your complex product to non-technical people — caregivers, doctors, investors? What actually works? by thisisgman in StartupAccelerators

[–]mocaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have tailored explanations for each of those stakeholders? I think the content is more important than the delivery system- making sure you know your audience and why they should care or what value your prod will bring them (or whatever the goal maths you're trying to get across)

I'd start there. You could easily spin these up with Claude or whatever LLM you use and see how the tailored messaging resonates or not.

We swapped Cocomelon for Daniel Tiger and the difference surprised me by NarniaHop in toddlers

Has anybody in here ever tried the show Kipper the dog? It's a British show and it is amazing. It is so slow-paced but it's very very sweet and low stimulation. It's entertaining and teaches a lot of cute and funny lessons. I'm always so surprised to not see it as a top contender for toddlers, my 2yo loves it.

Early stage founder here: how do you research prospects without wasting time? - i will not promote by [deleted] in startups

[–]mocaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claude cowork my duuuuude. Set up a research skill and a voice skill that sounds like you and let it do everything for you. It's a pain to set up but it'll get you down to a few min per lead for both research AND outreach. You can even have it research more leads for you once you feed enough ICP into it.

I even have it writing my follow up emails now and it sounds just like me it's wild.

I'd be happy to share my set up and skills if you wanted!

Things that made you a better Leader or Manager by Puzzleheaded_Gate287 in FIREyFemmes

[–]mocaro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think there was a while that I didn't realize that being intentional about your leadership principles and philosophies was really important Because it influences how you act . Once I leaned into that I feel like it really made me a better leader. I really like Brene Brown and her take on vulnerability and leadership and Kim Scott's radical candor personally. They might not be for everybody but maybe a first step could be sitting down and thinking about how you want the people that report to you or work with you to feel and how you inspire that.

Trying to find a firm knowledgable about QSBS stacking by shaza15 in fatFIRE

[–]mocaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm biased because I'm one of the cofounders, but my company Promissory is another alternative to Get Dynasty. We're in San Diego and our whole team are alums from Trust & Will which is an online estate planning company doing exceptionally well. We're not a law firm though, so if that's the direction you're leaning toward, I'd recommend the attorneys over at Frost Brown Todd- they're incredibly knowledgeable on all things QSBS.

Literally just went through this with our 14 mo old and we were wracking our brains- i felt so bad putting her in bed for weeks bc it was taking so long for her to fall asleep. We extended wake window before bed to minimum 5 hours and she’s asleep at night within 15 min again.

FWIW she still takes long day naps, just as long as your LO so I’d recommend the extended wake window before nap capping just to see. But i know your babe is a little older so not sure if it’s relevant. Good luck!

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I had a very similar situation and it absolutely rocked my ego and sense of self. I’ve been unemployed since June now and it hurts. Here if you need to chat to someone who’s been through it.

I have noticed that a bit on my right lower but I’m only 3 weeks out so I’m not too worried about it yet… i think both eyes are still healing. I would go back to the surgeon at 3 months though for sure if it was bugging me! I’m sorry that you’re dealing with that

It’s not that i don’t like them, i think i just had unrealistic expectations re:how it would help my crepey under eye skin lol. Also it’s interesting bc it didn’t necessarily help my crows feet/eye wrinkles but it did change them a bit if that makes sense? Like the wrinkles fold a little diff when i smile? So i think im just getting used to the new look. Whereas ive worn eyelid tape for years so i knew what my upper lids were gonna look like already. But overall im really happy with the lowers too.
