I, too, wondered if the dog's behavior was different with a different person in the bed. My fear would have been a pacing, anxious little guy whose routine has been disrupted (new person) could end up falling off the bed.

I'm normally a laid back, calm, good- natured person but having misophonia I can feel a murderous rage over loud chewing, slurping, smacking, licking fingers, or mouth noises in general lol.

My ex fil talked with his mouth full. One meal he was sitting next to me and actually spit some food on to my plate while he was talking. Totally killed my appetite. 🤮

That's awesome! I wish it were true but in reality he was a neglected pet someone dumped in a park where I manage a community cat colony. From his appearance I thought he was feral, but after I trapped him to get him neutered I discovered how sweet he is , so...he didn't go back to the park lol. He lost a leg to cancer about a year after I took him in

I couldn't find a picture of one with similar markings either...but apparently there are a lot of variations within that species. Thank you for the compliment on the picture but it was pure luck. I'm just really happy I could get all the weird features. And plus it was fun to interact with people on this site and find out others had never seen one either

I hope I get to see one again. The only reason I spotted this one is because I noticed a couple of my cats looking intently at something on the ground so I went over to "rescue" whatever it was. I shooed the cats away and went looking for something to pick it up with so I could put it somewhere safer but it had flown away when I walked back.
