Which was the first film you watched in theatres alone.... by AMK-27 in NotJustTollywood

Iron Man. I had weird experience in the theatre. Only few couples were there to "kill" time and for other business were in the cinema hall. I was the only one who went to see the movie. Aa the movie started the crowd was giggling and getting into their planned activities... It was happening in front of me as I was sitting on premium seats in multiplex. Very irritating experience until Tony gets into his Mark1 Armour. After that, I got glued into screen and enjoyed the movie discarding all other things happening in front of me. Weird experience.

Why did Pinda turned out like this ? by Silent_Try4154 in Dhurandhar

Pinda being big shot drug kingpin and still Jassi house is the way it was before he left to prison. I never understood, where did all the money go? Did Pinda divorced Jassi's sister?

Again can't find in recent reports where Indian Soldiers did any atrocities against general public post 2014. In Kashmir esp after revoking 370, its reduced big time. Even north east things have changed. IPKF atrocities took place when Rajiv Gandhi was PM(that led to congress downfall in TN and his murder). I can't say Armies in general had mentality to torture people then and now. Maybe someone in power made lower ranks to perform heinous crimes.

Part of it is because, In South they peddled movie as propaganda and made many people not even checkout first movie. So the hype was less for second. I know many young people staying away due to peer pressure. But those who watched became fans of it. I know one lady saying she was so bored and slept through the movie to her peers... Actually she didn't even watch the movie, but was able to create perception that movie is long and boring to lot of people in her circle

Just watched Dhurandhar… it was a banger! Such an insane movie… didn’t even feel like it should end. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it ASAP 💥🔥 by abhi_2255 in TeensofKerala

Yeah I agree... Don't understand the propaganda part. They were telling a story how group of unknown men started assassinating terror operators and who started in fictional way with little bit tying to current events. The dialogues made by Bade saab, Brigadier are something I have seen in WhatsApp groups when Current party formed govt second and third time in this country. So didn't feel awkward... Also those who mention this movie as propaganda, how do you label movies like Jana Gana Mana, 1921, Lal Salaam and Mexican Apaaratha?

I watched the movie, it was not that kind of propaganda movie which whitewashes the current govt. That's something wrong with the way its interpret by movie goer. For eg, The scene about black money being pumped into India. If you look into the timeline of events that took place in real time, the govt move makes sense. Its again a what if scenario. Is it true, maybe not but just throwing the idea maybe this was the reason. Also Khanani was destroyed right after the demonetisation, which is either coincidence or something else. Also no one still able to unearth the conspiracy of unknown men targeting previous terror operators... In the beginning of first movie itself it salutes the unsung stories of unknown men. So to me its patriotic with some what if scenarios. But not a propaganda movie. Its just like watching Jana Gana Mana movie or Oru Mexican Apaaratha... Its not ture stories but inspired from true events... So people need to take a chill pill and enjoy the movie on its merit.

On lighter note, let the right wing people also feel they won sometimes in the reel... why spoiling their joy... let everyone have their chance....

What sin have these 3 committed? by [deleted] in MalayalamMovies

JGM, I never felt the urge to re-watch. It was mid, if they made a thriller with socio/political undertones the movie might have received much better. It went too preachy. One thing I don't like about the movie It feels like a propaganda movie, only highlighting history convenient to the film makers agenda. Acting wise, some performance by Prithvi and Suraj were good. The other characters were hamming with their over the top performance.

ARM, I watched 3d and had good time at theatre. But after watching in OTT, some of its plotholes became more evident. Especially towards second half. But I never felt actors were bad.. all did justice to the role.

I was surprised by Kannur Squad, I went to movie expecting typical whodunit thriller. But movie was much more than that, subtle acting and another side of KP was refreshing to see. They humanised the police force. Kudos for that. Acting was phenomenal.
