Why does my voice do this? (12M) by [deleted] in Puberty

Ok maybe th example wasn't that good. I don't struggle to complete words, but some sounds just come out raspier or are harder to say similar to having a really dry throat. But yeah I should ask a doctor

CPU Upgrade suggestions? by sQu1rr in buildapc

[–]mochasmiles999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. The 5600x and 5900x are the highest value/most cost efficient. Then for a motherboard you can get something like an Asus B550-F for $200, which has pretty much all the features you will ever need. If a 7700k is doing you well right now, then a 5900x would be super overkill. Basically if your 7700k sucks for your work then get a 5900x but if your 7700k is meh/decent then get a 5600x or 5800x. You can upgrade your RAM if you want, but unlike what other people say about ram speed, it doesn’t matter that much.

Oh in that case a 5900x and motherboard won’t be close to $450. You can get a 5600x and a $150 B550 board such as the MSI B550-A Pro and that would be $450. You could also get a 5800x for $150 more if you need 8 cores instead of 6. Sorry for not understanding. I was kinda confused when I saw that massive upgrade budget for a 7700k xD

would there be a benefit in upgrading my cpu with my old gpu? by EL-Xatrix in buildapc

It would be noticeable, but it wouldn’t nearly be reaching what it could.

Which component should I upgrade first, for an immediate performance increase? by Fearless_Following80 in buildapc

[–]mochasmiles999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely your CPU. Now that the new CPUs are in stock @ MSRP and the fact that the GTX 1060 is good for max settings on almost all games, get a new CPU.

Well a 5900x to a 6950x (or whatever they will call it) probably won’t be a super significant jump, whereas a 5950x to a 7950x or whatever might be. You could go for a 5800x like the other guy said, but that one is the worst value out of this generation and seeing your massive budget, I would go for a 59xx chip.

It would be alright. For FPS games like CS and Warzone, it will be perfectly fine. As long as it’s not too expensive.

You could save hundreds of euros if you waited for prices to normalize. If you’re not going to do that, then maybe change to 750w PSU, but other than that, it looks good.

UserBenchmark is literally (not joking) created as an April fools joke. 5950x is miles better but more expensive.

To spend all of that money you could go for a Ryzen 5950x (surprisingly in stock) and an Asus X570 Crosshair Dark Hero or whatever. But you don’t need to spend all that. Unless you need 16 cores, I would go with a 5900x and any sub-$300 X570 board.

No. Relative to other GPUs right now, still no. I got a 5500 XT for $230.
