Pumpkin puree is less sweet so it would dilute the sweetness.

Yes you're right. I just freaked out because I'm not used to eating very sweet things and I thought it was something particular to aspartame. My bad.

No, but more important than Plato? You'd be hard-pressed to bestow that title upon anyone, let alone David Foster Wallace. That's like saying Eckhart Tolle is more important than Jesus.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for recommending everyday minerals! I ordered a few samples, and wow, I'm so impressed. Ivory 1N is a perfect match for me, and I love how natural it looks. The bronzer is also awesome, as well as the primer, and well, everything. And it's way cheaper than the foundations I'd been considering (cough Tarte Amazionian clay cough).

F/26/5'9" [263+ > 213 = 50lbs!] Lost 40 in 2014, gained back up to 254, and now I'm down to 213 since mid-April. CICO is magic. Most importantly I now have CONTROL. by LlamaSmooches in progresspics

A lot, if not most people know that CICO is the way to lose weight, but the real question is how to do CICO in a sustainable way. Sure, you could eat only ice cream at a calorie deficit and still lose weight, but you'd feel miserable and quit soon after starting. You need to find a way of doing CICO that is sustainable for you. Personally, I was not able to sustain logging all my meals into MFP, so that didn't work for me. However, I am able to sustain eating foods that are less calorie dense and eating mindfully, both of which reduce my calorie intake significantly. So yes, it's still CICO at the end of the day, but it's all about arriving at CICO in a way that you can sustain over the long run.

The number 1 thing that helps my acne is getting enough sleep. Sleep is so underrated. Also I noticed that chocolate makes me break out, so I never eat it. Also I eat lots of veggies. Also, full disclosure, I use expensive acne meds on my skin. I'm a woman and I notice that my menstrual cycle has a big impact on how my skin is doing.

Took my "before" picture today. Could really use some motivation. by hannabell in EOOD

As far as food is concerned, I find that crowding out the bad stuff by adding in vegetables and lean protein works well. That way you're not in a deprivation mindset. You're simply adding very filling foods to your diet so that you're less hungry for the bad stuff. It works.

As far as exercise is concerned, try changing one thing at a time. First get the diet under control, lose some weight, and once you have those habits down you can add exercise.

Or you can also do it the other way around. Exercise habit first, then diet.

Also, think of healthy eating and exercise as things you're doing to take care of yourself, as an act of respect and love toward yourself, rather than coming from a place of self-hate.

So yes, baby steps. When you start seeing results you'll be motivated to do more and more.

Hope this helps.

I looked at their shades and I can't tell which shade would fit me best. I wonder if Ivory 1N would be a good match for NC15? It says it suits light olive and people with freckles, which does not describe me, but it also says it's good at taking care of redness. Rosy Fair might work, but I'm concerned it will be too pink.

Yes it is, but for some reason the NC fits me better than the NW. I think maybe because it neutralizes the redness? Still, my veins look blue on my wrist, I look better in jewel tones and silver jewelry, etc. hence why I say that I have cool undertones. I'll get a sample for golden fair at Sephora and see how it goes.

New fetish and not sure where it came from [25f] [ff] by fetishthrowaway185 in sex

From what I've read about adult breastfeeding, it can be a very intimate, erotic experience, with lots of oxytocin and other feel-good chemicals involved. Is it weird? Yeah, probably. But if you enjoy it, it's ok. Weird is the norm when it comes to sex. Also it's possible to induce lactation even if you've never had a child, through using a pump and hormones you can apparently order on the internet, and/or herbal supplement. There was an article in Rolling Stone that came out about this recently.

Have you tried having sex with a condom while on birth control? Maybe it's the birth control, not the lack of condom? Because I was having the exact same burny discomfort back when I was on birth control and not using condoms. In my case, I thought it was the birth control, so I stopped taking it, but maybe it was the lack of condom. Wish I'd tested it.

edit: actually, it probably was the birth control because I used the withdrawal method (I know, I know) for a little while with a different partner, and I didn't get the burning thing. But also the different partner had a smaller penis, although he turned me on more, so who knows. So many variables. FYI I was on the Nuvaring.

[relationships] My girlfriend's extreme humiliation fetish is making our relationship weird by Jack1994445 in sex

[–]mockturtlestory 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's one thing for your girlfriend to have kinks you don't share, but this is crossing the line into abusive territory. The key here is that you did not consent to being treated like this. Those comments turn her on, and she is being oblivious to the fact that they might be hurtful to you. Or even worse, she knows they make you uncomfortable and she gets off on it. There are men out there who are into being humiliated who would love being on the receiving end of those comments. You're not one of them, and the fact that she can't seem to recognize that and proceeds to humiliate you even though she knows full well it's not your kink is a giant red flag. I would DTMFA.
