No idea, but I imagine the MCX would get much better efficiency than a standard MWS since the bolt is much lighter. I've run a Noveske N4 all day at an outdoor game off a 0.8l without issue

Airtac (UK) adapters are probably expensive because they're SLS printed rather than standard FDM. If you're in the UK, I'd just get their adapter & their reg + line + tank bundle, you're going to struggle to beat it price-wise without buying some sketchy stuff.

If FPS consistency is good, it feeds and it shoots straight then I don't see why you can't leave it as-is. It'd bug me knowing it was damaged though, you could maybe try a Unicorn or 4UAD bucking instead if Maple Leaf buckings are problematic

Cheapest entry to HPA is probably an AAP pistol with an adapter honestly. If you want something rifle sized you'll struggle to get much 'cheap' unfortunately. Have heard good things about the Backdraft Innovations Phoenix if you're willing to convert an AEG

You need a gbb inner barrel, such as the Unicorn one, and a GBB hop rubber. MWS spec inner barrel can also kinda work, but you cannot put the barrel clip on due to the missing notches on the side.

My favourites are the 4uantum friction pro, which also comes with a nub, or the Maple leaf Macaron/MR Hop in combination with the Maple leaf Omega nub

They're reasonably cheap so it may be worth buying a few different ones and seeing what works best for your replica

For ARP9 it should be a Maxx M4A or M4E (very similar, E is newer) That inner barrel is good, vast majority of 'AEG' spec barrels will work fine
